Forestglen Seth amazing offspring
The first of Forestglen’s cria was born at Waratah Flats Alpaca Stud in February 2009. This cria’s name was Waratah Flats Earl Grey, and from the time he was only a few hours old it was obvious that this cria was going to be a stunner. A thick knotty fleece covered this youngster in a dense blanket of beautiful stylish fibre that was soft to the touch and had amazing lustre. We knew from that moment on we had a real classy breeding male in our stable and over the years he has proved this time and time again.
From the beginning we were pleased to see such strong healthy youngsters born, all with sound conformation and good fibre coverage. We were also delighted to have a range of solid colours from stunning whites, through light coffee fawns, to dark rich nutmeg browns. All his cria carry that beautiful upright conformation with solid frames and good true to type huacaya characteristics.
The hall mark of Forestglen Seth’s pedigree traits has been that super soft fleece (19.3u at 9 years), with a fine high frequency crimp and amazing lustre. This combination is very traceable through his offspring and now we are also seeing it being amplified in the fleeces of his second generation into his grandsons and granddaughters.
At Qtaz Alpacas and Waratah Flats we enjoy watching these cria grow and develop over the years. We have entered a selection of his offspring on this web site, so that you too can follow their progress.
