Best Females

female offspring

Forestglen Seth has also produced some fabulous female offspring, many with outstanding show records. Here is a small selection.

Waratah Flats Floribunda (now in Germany) was one of the first daughters to be selected by keen European alpaca breeders. With her beautiful chocolate brown and fine fleece she has proved a real winner for her new owner, having already produced several Champions herself.

Waratah Flats Hot Gossip (white) and Waratah Flats Hollyhock (mid fawn) are both full sisters, but apart from their slight difference in colouring, they have both inherited those same super fine fleece trait (14u at two years) from their father.

Waratah Flats Honeycomb is another stunning Forestglen Seth daughter who impressed in the show ring. She also is now in Europe.

Q TAZ Raindrop was born during a rain storm, Raindrop is a stand out in our herd. She is a beautiful looking girl with a gorgeous mid brown, fine fleece that is crimpy and lustrous. She did extremely well in the show ring, consistently winning her class. She was awarded multiple Champion and Reserve Champion placings but her biggest accolade was being awarded Supreme Champion at the Kumeu Show in 2010. Retired from the show ring, Raindrop has produced stunning offspring for us.

Q TAZ Donnatela is a light fawn Seth daughter who still carries an enviable fleece for an older female. Donnatella has produced Champion progeny for us, with her son, Q TAZ Macho Man, winning three Supreme Champion awards. We are excited about Donna’s light fawn female cria (Q TAZ Angel of the Morning) who was born in March 2015 and eagerly await the spring shows so we can show her off.

Q TAZ April Sun impressed in the show ring. Her light brown fleece was stunning. The National Show 2010 saw her winning Reserve Champion Junior Female which was no mean feat for a coloured junior. At Waikato Show 2010 (the second largest show in New Zealand, after the National Show) April won Champion Junior Female. We were very proud of her. April was purchased by breeders in Germany and she has been a great “Show Girl” for them also, winning an array of championships. She has now commenced her breeding career.

Q TAZ Party Princess did very well in the show ring although she was usually in her sister April’s shadow so therefore was mostly placed 2nd in her class. She is a light brown female with darker points and is very pretty, with excellent conformation. Sold to breeders in Germany, Princess has produced stunning cria for them.

Q TAZ Living Doll is a beautiful dark fawn female with an incredibly well structured, dense fleece, Dolly was awarded colour and age Championships at many shows. She was an upright, robust female and has been sold to Sweden where she has produced a stunning dark fawn male for her new owners.
